Do I need a permit to build or replace my fence?
No, a permit is not required for fence construction or replacement. However, compliance with the Fence By-law 2019-20 is mandatory, as it establishes minimum standards for installation, maintenance, and repair.
Is a permit necessary if my fence will be used as a pool enclosure?
Yes, if the fence is intended for use as a pool enclosure, a separate pool enclosure permit is required.
How long does it typically take to build a fence?
Fence-building is a custom job, and the duration of any fencing project is influenced by various factors. For a simple wooden fence surrounding a yard spanning 100-200 feet with standard ground conditions, the construction process usually takes between two and four days.
What area do you service?
We serve clients in Oakville, Mississauga, and Toronto (typically south of Highway 7 all the way east to Scarborough). Feel free to still reach out if you are slightly outside of our service area - see map below.
Do you have a minimum?
Our minimum charge is $1,500.
